GUEST HorseBACK Riding/Handling Agreement

I (the undersigned) agree as follows in consideration for being allowed to enter upon the property at 301 Highview Court and 213 Highview Drive in the unincorporated County of Santa Cruz, CA.

The property owners are Stanley M. Sokolow, Sonya Sokolow, Susanne Sokolow, and Shannon Sokolow (in their respective capacities as trustees of their living trusts).

I agree that riding, handling, and being around horses or on horse property have inherent risks of bodily injury and property damage, which risks I willingly accept. I will use safety equipment, including riding helmet, as is necessary or prudent. I agree that property owners have not made any claims or representations about the safety of the premises or of the activities that I willingly will engage in on the property.

I have not paid any valuable compensation to the horse owner for horseback riding, lessons, or any other activity on the property. I am not being paid for this activity.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby release the above identified property owners, their families, employees, agents, estates, heirs, trusts, successors, and assignees, from all claims which may hereafter develop or accrue to me on account of, or by reason of, any injury, loss, or damage, which may be suffered by me or by my minor dependents or to any property, because of any matter, thing or condition, negligence, default, or error, whatsoever; and i hereby assume and accept the full risk and danger of any hurt, injury or damage which may occur through or by reason of any matter, thing or condition, negligence, default, or error, of any person or persons whatsoever, while on or about the property owned by these owners.
