(It's something like "YouTube" for Miniature Zebus.)
To upload your own videos to MiniZebuTube,
follow these simple instructions:
- Capture your video into a file that is one of the acceptable
formats (above).
upload website
- Follow the instructions to upload your file to our Brightcove
site. (It's free to open your Brightcove account and free to
upload.)
- Go to the player (miniature-zebu-show.thesokolows.com)
in a few days to see your video live under the MiniZebuTube tab.
Here are
more detailed instructions:
- Use your camera's supplied software or video editing programs
such as Microsoft's
Windows Movie Maker or Apple's
Quicktime Pro or PinnacleSystems
Studio.
- Edit the video if you wish. Keep the file no larger than
100 megabytes. To limit file size you may need to delete some
portions of your video or reduce the image resolution (number of pixels
across and down). A size of 640x480 is suggested, but if
necessary to reduce file size, you can reduce that size
proportionately (keeping the aspect ratio unchanged to avoid
distortion). For example, 320x240.
- Save the video file on your computer in one of the supported
formats (above).
- Using your Internet browser, go to our MiniZebuTube
upload website here
- You will need to
create a Brightcove account if you don't already have one. It's
free of charge. Follow
the on-screen instructions.
- When you get to the screen which asks you to submit your file,
click on the Browse button, then locate the file on your
computer. In the description, please give your own name and email
address in a "submitted by" line. Be sure to give some good
keywords to help search engines index your file for others to find it.
- Submit your file. It will be uploaded. The progress
bar will show the percentage uploaded as it goes. After it
is completely uploaded, you will receive a completion message.
- The producer of this site will review the submitted file to
ensure it is appropriate content and then, if accepted, will publish it
uder
the MiniZebuTube tab of the Urban Cowgirl
Channel player. (Accepted files are converted by Brightcove
into a common file format that plays on our web player on almost
anyone's computer.)
- By submitting your video, you impliedly are assuring us that you
are not violating anyone else's copyrights to the video content, or to
the images or music it contains. The music we use on the Urban
Cowgirl Channel's productions is music for which we have been
licensed. If you want to add music to your video, you may
obtain royalty-free music from sources such as the video software you
buy or http://www.royaltyfreemusic.com/
- When your submission is accepted, it will appear in the list of
videos under the MiniZebuTab. Eventually these videos will be
discovered by the video web search engines and other people will be
able to find them easily. Tell your friends to go to: miniature-zebu-show.thesokolows.com
. When you play your own video, you can click a control at the end of
the video to send a link to someone by email. It's easy. Then
they can tell their friends, and so on.
